We are a group of elite veterinary practitioners who combine unparalleled expertise in pain management and physical rehabilitation with compassion for our patients and their owners.
Is your previously happy, active pet limping or having trouble running, climbing stairs, or getting up? Flinching, growling or cowering when touched? Not bouncing back after a surgical procedure or an injury?
Pain management for people is relatively straightforward - we can describe our symptoms to doctors and give them clear feedback about whether the treatment is effective. Identifying pain in animals, finding out what causes it, figuring out how to relieve it, and determining whether it is in fact relieved, is more challenging.
We use advanced diagnostic tests and protocols to locate and identify pain and determine its causes, then create an integrated pain management plan to address pain or disability with a combination of medication, rehabilitation therapies and physical medicine. This leading-edge multimodal treatment approach makes it possible to control pain and improve or restore mobility and function.
Before you schedule a consultation with us, talk to your veterinarian about rehabilitation and ask them to fill out the form and provide copies of your pet’s records and x-rays to bring to your appointment with us.
If you don’t presently have a veterinarian or are self-referring, complete the form to the best of your ability and we’ll take care of the rest. You can fax the completed form to us at 780.444.7558 prior to your initial consultation, bring it with you, or fill it out when you arrive for your first appointment.
